The Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ), through the Jamaica Venture Capital Programme (JVCP) is pleased to announce that its recently issued ‘Call for Proposals’ has generated significant interest from local and international fund managers motivated to establish Venture Funds and to invest in companies operating in Jamaica.
 
The ‘Call’ opened on July 18, and closed on September 19, resulted in eight pre-qualified proposals that will now move to the next stage of the selection process.

The Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ) through the Jamaica Venture Capital Programme (JVCP) recently hosted two executive training workshops for market stakeholders within the Venture Capital industry.

The Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ) has announced that, through its Jamaica Venture Capital Programme (JVCP), it will be hosting two major workshops on Venture Capital. The Executive Training workshops are to be held at the UWI Regional Headquarters from June 30 – July 4.
